The only app that controls iOS devices on your computer iTunes. But when you're far from the computer that contains all your music and must copy music from that device, iTunes is of no help.The solution is to use Sharepod: a free program that can access any iOS device. I used Sharepod to export aii my library old iPod to reload through a new computer. Below is steps to follow.
1. Connect the device to your computer with the USB cable.
2.Select the files you want to export and click Copy to computer.
