die. People at risk are smokers, excessive body fat, alcohol and diabetics

and hypertensive are at higher risk of heart attacks. Reduce sugar and salt in
diet, increase your fruit consumption and lower fat in diet to reduce risk.
Garlic
taken orally reduces high blood pressure, prevents heart diseases and
arthrosclerosis, treat earaches. It stimulates both the immune and circulatory
systems.
Throat cancer
can be easily treated if detected early. Risk reduced by avoiding smoking,
alcohol. Exposure to chemicals like asbestos and keeping good dental hygiene.
Tetanus
is infection of the nervous system by deadly tetani bacteria living in the soil
through open wounds. Ensure wounds are properly treated and not left exposed.
Tetanus
causes muscle to stretch which could lead to heart failure, bone fracture ,
brain damage. Tetanus vaccination is the way to prevent complications.
The
bacteria that causes tetanus lives in the soil. It is important you prevent
children from playing with sand, sharp objects to prevent exposure to the
bacteria.
Do you know that overuse of common drugs such
as aspirin; ibuprofen and paracetamol can lead to kidney failure? Unprescribe
overuse of these drugs is not advised.
Do you know one person gets infected with
tuberculosis per second? Careless spitting, coughing and sneezing spread TB fast. Cover your month
sneezing or coughing.
Tuberculosis
also spread fast in overcrowded places. Smokers have twice the risk of getting
infected. Malnutrition, needle sharing is also an associated TB risk.

causes plague to build up in blood vessels.
Varicose
veins are swollen, twisted, painful vein that have filled with blood mostly in
the leg. It occur often during pregnancy and after standing for a long time.
Do you
aware candidiasis also affects the mouth. This yeast infection which makes the
mouth white and bleed. Eating yogurt helps clear a simple infection of thrush.
Bad
breath can be caused by smoking alcohol, month infection as oral candidiasis,
chronic lung and sinus infection, diseases as diabetes, liver or kidney
disorders, the food we eat. Garli, onions some kinds of fish, fat and meat, not
drinking enough water, month dryness.
Do you
know dysentery can result from viral, bacteria or parasite infestation? They
reach the large intestine after entering the mouth through infected water or
food. Preventing dysentery involves washing your hands after using the toilet,
before eating cooking, feeding infants and elderly, avoid sharing towels and
face cloth.
Do you
know Vitamin C and E, zinc and fish food rich in omega-3fatty acids helps prevent
age related eye diseases as cataracts. Smoking quickens risk of cataracts.
Cataract formation can be sped up by diabetes, eye inflammatory and injury,
long term use of some steroids and exposure to high dose of ultraviolet ray
from the sun.
Atherosclerosis
is a disease in which plaque build up inside arteries. Plaque is a sticky
substance made up of fat, cholesterol and calcium. Atherosclerosis doesn’t
cause symptoms until it narrows os totally blocks an artery. Numbness in the
legs and arms are signs of blocked arteries in the legs and arms.
