THE CENTRAL AID SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME FOR SHS AND JHS STUDENTS IN GHANA

 Central Aid has been involved in the award of educational scholarships to brilliant but needy students in Secondary, Technical and Vocational Institutions in Ghana since its establishment as an educational trust in 1988 with the first intake of beneficiaries in the 1989/90 academic year. Central Aid in awarding scholarships does not discriminate on account of gender, religion, ethnicity, disability or denomination. Indeed, the bulk of scholarships awarded over the years has gone to students with no connection whatsoever with the International Central Gospel Church.Central Aid, the human development-oriented agency of the International Central Gospel Church (ICGC), invites applications for financial assistance from students in pursuit of Senior High School education in Ghana for the 2014/2015 academic year.

An applicant must:
  1. be a Ghanaian aged 13-22 years
  2. presently be in JHS 3 or SHS 1-3
  3. be brilliant and in dire need of financial assistance
  4. show a strong desire to pursue his/her academic goals
  5. not be a beneficiary of any other scholarship scheme in Ghana
Application forms are available at any of the following places:

The deadline for receiving completed Application Forms is 31ST MARCH 2014
Applications received after the given deadline will not be considered
Only shortlisted applicants will be contacted for further processing
Current JHS 3 students are particularly encouraged to apply
