Thousands of selfless people are doing amazing things in communities across Ghana. The MTN “Heroes of Change” project seeks to unearth and celebrate these people. The programme will identify, celebrate and support the contribution of these heroes and heroines who are playing diverse roles in the development of our society.

MTN Hero of Change 2015 Award

A shortlist of 10 nominees and their projects will be showcased on TV over a 13-week period, and an independent panel of Judges will select three category winners and an ultimate 2015 MTN Hero of Change. The 2015 MTN Hero of Change will receive project support of GHC100, 000.

Criteria for Selection

Selections will be on the following areas:

Health – dedication to the enhancement of human health in Ghana.
Economic Empowerment – commitment to capacity building and economic empowerment in Ghana.
Education – helping to improve literacy and/or increase access to education in Ghana.

Nominating your Hero

If you know of a person or a group asking extraordinary contributions in the community then take the first step towards giving them an opportunity to be recognized and rewarded by nominating them for the MTN Hero of Change award.

How to Nominate

You can either complete and submit a nomination form or simply write a letter to us.

You may fill and submit the form via email to us at heroes@mtn.com.gh or drop it off at an MTN Service Centre.

Letter

Alternatively, you may write a letter of not more than two pages describing your hero and stating why he/she deserves to be rewarded as an MTN Hero of Change. Send your letter to MTN Heroes of Change, P.O. Box AT 179, Achimota- Accra, or drop it off at any MTN Service Centre.

Submission Deadline

Nominations should be submitted from Wednesday 15th April to the Friday 16th June, 2015.
