Short Code to Access services of National Health Insurance Scheme on Phone

I must commend  National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA) for introducing short code to access information about their serves on our phone ( both smart or ordinary phones). With this short code members of the scheme can access information such Policy validity, Renew memberships, check benefits package and importantly check medicine list the scheme covers. Let me walk you through how to use the short code to
access the above information.

              How Do I Access the information on my Phone 

==> Dial *842*20# on any phone
==>  Choose option 1 to check policy validity
        
         i. choose option 1 to Select card type 
         ii. Press option to choose NHIA Card
        iii. Enter the card numbers
        iv. Re-enter the card 
         v. Press okay 

==> Choose option 2  for renew membership
==> Choose option 3 to check benefits packages
==> Choose option 4  to check medicine list

NB: Use first instruction for any other option you choose
