Tweety Manager provides the capability of sending instant or schedule tweets to Twitter. Yes, scheduled tweets! Set as many future tweets as you would like. Great for bloggers who want their followers to know about their latest blog post, just schedule the tweet a few times per day.
Provides URL shortening functionality.
Preferences include notification when tweets are posted, the option to wake up your device to post a tweet, and date/time formats for tweets.
Requires prevent phone from sleeping because when posting a tweet the application gets a wake lock to ensure the process completes (approx 20 seconds). As soon as the process completes the wake lock is released!
As this is our first application, please let us know of any issues prior to a negative review, we'd like to fix any issues you have to make our software better for you!
At this time after authorizing to twitter in preferences you have to press your device home button and start Tweety Manager again. Then press the back button twice. We are working on fixing this!
