With Yahoo! Messenger's PC-to-PC calls , you can talk to and see your contacts for free using computer's webcam and microphone. Before you can do this, you need to configure your computer's firewall to allow the program full access to your computer.
2. Close Yahoo! Messenger if it is open.
3. Click "Start," type "Firewall" into the search box on your computer.
4. Click "Windows Firewall with Advanced Security" when it appears.
5. Click the "Inbound Rules" entry listed on the left side of the box that appears.
6. Click the "New Rule" entry that appears on the right side of the box.
7. Click the circle to the left of "Port" to select it, then click "Next."
8. Click within the box to the right of the "Specific Local Ports" entry, then type "5050."
9. Click "Next," then click "Next" two more times.
10. Type "Yahoo! Messenger" in the "Name" box, then clicks "Finish."
11. Click "Outbound Rules" located on the left side of the "Windows Firewall with Advanced Secuirty" box, then click "New Rule."
NOTE
Repeat the process to create a new rule using the port "5050."
