Globacom Nigeria recently launched Glo Soccer Academy in Lagos Nigeria, a TV Reality show tagged The Dream Team. The Concept of the Glo Football Academy is to provide a once-in- a-lifetime opportunity for young talented footballers to kick-start their career in professional football; and to offer viewers at home the opportunity to participate in the process of selection and elimination.It is opened to boys aged 14-17 years. 33 players will be shortlisted for the Dream Team.The academy is expected to discover football talent within the West Africa sub-region where the company has its footprints, and expose them to international football. In Ghana the screening is taking place in two centers - Accra & Kumasi or Tamale.
